Raffia is strips of palm and is a natural fiber that forms to your foot, but it is not stretchy and it's not soft. Raffia shoes are a work of art, each handwoven over 1-2 days. After the upper is woven, the raffia upper part of the shoe is placed on a hard flat wooden sole with an upcycled leather insole. The shoes are originally sized in European sizing.
