Our tote bags are the perfect everyday bag! Each bag is hand-embroidered by refugee and low-income women artisans with a traditional Palestinian tatreez design, the Tents of the Elite Society ("Khaem El Basha"in Arabic). "El Basha" was the name associated with the elite society during the Ottoman empire.
