Bati Leather Goods embody true beauty, the kind that weathers the effects of time and the ups and downs of life. Each product is like a story passed down through generations. It never gets old and is never forgotten.

The leather goods reflect the natural beauty of the Paraguayan landscape and tell the powerful story of the Macchi students. All Bati Goods are handmade with 100% Full Grain Vegetable Tanned leather by seasoned leather artisans in Tobatí, Paraguay. The leather is treated exclusively with organic ingredients (tannic acids, vegetable oil), which give the goods a natural glow and allow them to soften and strengthen over time. No chemicals are used in the tanning process, and the slight imperfections of the hide are embraced to add life to the goods. Because of this, no two items ever look the same.

Bati is passionate about helping others in need and inspiring positive change in impoverished communities in Paraguay. Founders Taylor Ross and Jose Valladolid Jr have been involved with The Macchi School in Tobati, Paraguay for years. The 7-12 grade high school offers disadvantaged youth a full scholarship to receive a top notch college-prep education. Bati uses proceeds from each sale to provide these students with the resources they need to succeed once they matriculate from The Macchi School. Whether it's providing more English classes or college prep courses, Bati is committed to creating bridges for ambitious students thirsting for a chance to succeed.
